The Löwenbräu has been part of Cologne’s old town since 1974 — right on the Frankenwerft, looking out over the Rhine. Hearty German cooking meets Italian classics and Anatolian specialities here: a mixture of southern temperament and German cosiness, in warm, old-world surroundings.

We place great value on quality and freshness — our produce is delivered almost every day.

Whether travelling alone, as a couple or with the family — you will find the right room with us. Our rooms are divided into several categories and offer comfort, charm and modern amenities. The house was completely renovated in 2015; all 20 rooms have a bath or shower/WC, TV and telephone.

A generous breakfast buffet awaits you in our restaurant each morning. During the day our air-conditioned restaurant serves hot food throughout — hearty German specialities and fine Italian cooking. The restaurant seats around 160 guests across two floors, plus a further 110 on our covered and heated terrace by the Rhine.
